A harvester that breaks in the middle of harvesting is the worst possible nightmare. Or an expensive extruder, forced into weeks of downtime by a broken shaft.

NCTE torque sensors monitor forces inside the shaft, which in NCTE’s technology becomes the primary sensor. They do so in real time and completely non-contact (without strain gauges). If the present torque exceeds a given limit, an intelligent control system will immediately prevent overload, avoiding expensive damage and downtimes.
